Humanity In Need- Rainbow Refugees

Started in 2020 in response to the mass of LGBT+ people fleeing homophobic persecution in East Africa, 'Humanity in Need - Rainbow Refugees' is an Australian charity seeking to advocate and support the African LGBTQ+ community.

Humanity in Need- Rainbow Refugees advocates for the recognition of Human Rights of LGBTQ+ African people facing persecution in Uganda, Kenya and other neighboring countries. We raise funds for the assistance of LGBTQ+ people currently housed in Kakuma Refugee Camp, advocate for the acceptance of African LGBTQ+ refugees in Western nations, and support newly arrived LGBTQ+ refugees in their new home countries.
